โ€œThe MoU establishes a framework for cooperation between the two companies to explore potential collaboration opportunities in India, with a particular focus on maritime surveillance, security missions and unmanned systems, including Marine Instrumentsโ€™ flagship AirFox unmanned aerial system,โ€ a joint statement issued on the occasion said.

โ€œThe agreement marks a first step in a shared ambition to combine Marine Instrumentsโ€™ proven operational experience and proprietary technologies with Globaz Technologiesโ€™s strong local presence and understanding of the Indian defense ecosystem,โ€ the statement added.

Under the MoU, the two companies would work together on technical familiarisation, training activities and initial market engagement, as well as exploratory discussions with relevant institutional stakeholders.

โ€œThis structured approach is intended to build mutual understanding, align operational concepts and assess how best to address real operational needs in the region, the two companies said.

โ€œIndia represents a strategic and highly relevant market for Marine Instruments, and we are particularly excited about the opportunity to introduce solutions such as AirFox, which has already demonstrated its value in demanding maritime surveillance missions. This MoU allows us to start working closely with Globaz Technologies in a pragmatic way, build trust between our teams and explore how our technologies can contribute to maritime security challenges in India,โ€ Marine Instruments general manager Gabriel Gรณmez Celaya said.

โ€œWe are delighted to take this first step with Marine Instruments. Marine Instrumentsโ€™ technologies, and especially the AirFox system, bring unique operational capabilities. This MoU gives us a solid framework to explore cooperation, leverage our local integration and support capabilities, and jointly assess opportunities within the Indian defense and maritime security domain under make in India framework,โ€ Globaz Technologiesโ€™ director Karan Wilkhoo said.

The MoU reflects the two companiesโ€™ shared intention to work together and serves as a first step towards potential future agreements, subject to further discussions and mutual alignment.
