Mumbai: Belrise Industries Limited has entered into a strategic cooperation pact with Israel-based defence solutions provider Plasan Sasa to jointly pursue opportunities related to the ATEMM (All-Terrain Electric Mission Module) platform for the Indian defence market, strengthening India’s push for indigenisation under the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat (Self-Reliant India) initiatives.
Announced on December 22, 2025, the agreement establishes an exclusive framework for technical and business collaboration focused on defence programmes and tenders issued by Indian government authorities, including the Ministry of Defence, public sector undertakings, and paramilitary forces.
The pact has been signed for an initial period of three years and will be reviewed annually against mutually agreed key performance indicators, according to the announcement.

Under the cooperation framework, the two companies will jointly identify, pursue, and execute defence-related opportunities, with exclusivity within the defined scope of collaboration.
The partnership also encompasses joint work on technical development, manufacturing processes, and capability building, enabling Belrise to emerge as a supplier of subsystems and systems within Plasan’s global supply chain, while supporting Plasan’s expansion in India.
A key focus of the collaboration is the ATEMM platform, a self-propelled electric mission module designed to enhance payload capacity, energy supply, mobility, and survivability for modern armed forces.
The partners aim to adapt the ATEMM system to meet the specific operational requirements of the Indian Armed Forces and deliver mission-ready solutions for future defence programmes.

“This partnership represents a significant milestone in our journey to bring world-class defence technologies to India,” Belrise Industries chief of staff Swastid Badve said.
Plasan’s vice president for marketing and business development, Gilad Ariav, said the collaboration would help address India’s defence needs while strengthening Plasan’s global supply chain through cost-effective production from India.
Belrise Industries, formerly Badve Engineering, operates 20 manufacturing facilities across India and reported revenues of over INR 8,000 crore for the year ended March 2025.
Plasan Sasa is a global provider of survivability and armour solutions for military vehicles and personnel, with products deployed across multiple international markets.
