Bengaluru (Karnataka): Hical Technologies has launched a new 60,000-square-foot aerospace manufacturing facility in Devanahalli in Bengaluru, as the company expands its production capacity for global aerospace and defence programmes. The new facility will house partnerships and dedicated production lines for complex electromagnetics, electromechanical, hydraulic, and control systems for commercial aircraft and Rafale fighter jet programmes. It will also include an experience centre showcasing Hical’s other manufacturing facilities and capabilities.
The Devanahalli expansion is part of Hical’s plans to increase manufacturing capacity and develop the capabilities required to support complex aerospace and defence programmes, the company said, adding that the facility will strengthen its ability to serve global customers while maintaining the quality, traceability, and process controls required for aerospace manufacturing.
Hical Technologies managing director Yashas Jaiveer, on the occasion, said the new facility would strengthen the company’s manufacturing capabilities for complex programmes. “The launch of our Devanahalli facility strengthens the manufacturing depth needed to support complex aerospace and defence programmes from India. It will help us serve global customers with greater scale while maintaining the precision, reliability and process discipline these programmes demand,” he said.

The Devanahalli facility complements Hical’s 160,000-square-foot aerospace-qualified facility being developed in Hosur. The company completed the groundbreaking for the Hosur facility in July 2026, the Machine Maker reported. The Hosur site is being developed for precision machining, fabrication and special processes and is on track for NADCAP qualification. Together, the Devanahalli and Hosur facilities will expand Hical’s programme-linked manufacturing capacity and support the company’s work across aerospace and defence applications.
The two facilities are expected to provide additional manufacturing depth as Hical works with global aerospace and defence customers. The company is focusing on production capabilities that require high levels of precision, process control and traceability. The expansion also comes as India’s aerospace and defence manufacturing sector develops greater domestic production capabilities and seeks to increase participation in global supply chains. Hical said its new facilities will support its role in this ecosystem while serving international programmes.
Hical Technologies specialises in high-precision electromechanical systems for aerospace and defence applications. The company supplies global aerospace and defence original equipment manufacturers and provides engineering and manufacturing capabilities for complex systems.
Its product and manufacturing capabilities cover precision electromechanical systems and related aerospace and defence applications. The company is also focused on supporting the development of India’s domestic aerospace manufacturing base. The Devanahalli facility adds to Hical’s existing manufacturing infrastructure and the new capacity being developed at Hosur.
The combined expansion is intended to provide the company with greater scale to support current and future aerospace and defence programmes from India. Hical said the facilities will enable it to address growing customer requirements while maintaining manufacturing standards related to quality, reliability, traceability and process discipline.
