Airbus Bags Order from Indian Private Operator for First H175 and Two ACH160 Helicopters

Hyderabad: Airbus Corporate Helicopters has signed an order for two ACH160 helicopters and one H175 with a private Indian customer, the company announced on January 31, 2026.

The operator is an existing ACH160 customer and will become Indiaสผs first H175 customer, it said in a statement at Wings India 2026 here.

Marking the introduction of the super-medium twin-engine helicopter into the Indian civil market, the H175 helicopter will come in a 16-seat configuration with delivery scheduled for 2026.

The two ACH160 helicopters will be exclusively configured as per customerสผs requirements and will be delivered in 2027, it said.

โ€œThis repeat order for the two ACH160s and the first-ever H175 by an Indian customer reflects the maturity that the civil helicopter market is gaining in the country,โ€ Airbus Helicopters India and South Asia head Sunny Guglani said.

โ€œBoth helicopters are ideally suited to support passenger transport and offer superior performance and great comfort. We congratulate the customer on their choice and are thankful to them for the confidence they have placed in our products,โ€ he said.
