Rooted in historical wisdom yet forward-focused, the book envisions an Indian Armed Forces that is ready, reliable, and resurgent, aligned with the nation’s aspirations for regional stability and global stature.

Speaking at the event, Rajnath Singh lauded the CDS for his “visionary articulation of India’s defence transformation” and emphasised the importance of future-ready forces capable of meeting multidimensional threats.

The event was also attended by Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS) Director General Major General (Dr) Ashok Kumar and the book’s publisher, Pentagon Press’s Rajan Arya.

“Ready, Relevant and Resurgent II” builds on the momentum of its predecessor and serves as a crucial guide for policymakers, strategists, and defence professionals seeking to understand the direction of India’s military evolution amid rapidly changing global security dynamics.
