India’s BEL registers growth of 47% in PAT in 3rd Quarter of FY25

Bengaluru (Karnataka): India’s state-run Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has achieved a turnover of Rs. 5643.25 crore (US$651 million), registering a growth of 36.97% during the third quarter of the 2024-25 fiscal over its Rs. 4120.10 crore (US$475 million) recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) during the third quarter of FY 2024-25 stood at Rs. 1754.15 crore (US$202 million), with a growth of 49.64% over the Profit Before Tax (PBT) of Rs. 1172.26 crore (US$135 million) recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Profit After Tax (PAT) during the third quarter of FY 2024-25 stood at Rs. 1316.06 crore (US$152 million), with a growth of 47.33% over the Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs. 893.30 crore (US$103 million) recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Up to the third quarter of FY 2024-25, BEL achieved a turnover of Rs. 14173.68 crore (US$1.6 billion) as against Rs. 11484.92 crore (US$1.33 billion) recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year, according to a company statement on Jan. 30, 2025.

Profit Before Tax (PBT) has increased to Rs. 4242.37 crore (US$490 million) from Rs. 2948.95 crore (US$340 million) recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The Profit After Tax (PAT) has increased to Rs. 3183.47 crore (US$367 million) from Rs. 2236.48 crore (US$258 million) recorded in the corresponding period of the previous year.

The company’s order book position as of Jan. 1, 2025, stood at Rs. 71100 crore (US$8.2 billion).
