India defence ministry registers 5 private firms for third party inspections

New Delhi: In a first, India’s Ministry of Defence has registered five private companies to carry out third party inspection of military stores.

These private companies that got registered with the Directorate General of Quality Assurance (DGQA) are:

• Bureau Veritas India Private Limited, Mumbai
• International Certification Services Private Limited, Mumbai
• TUV India Private Limited, Mumbai
• TUV SUD Private Limited, Mumbai
• IR Class System & Solutions Private Limited, Mumbai
